The primary job accountabilities of this position will be to seek, identify, prioritize and implement programs to take advantage of financial opportunities in the Production departments (Cheese, Processing, and Whey). These opportunities will include, but not be limited to; improving speed, accuracy, yields, line efficiencies, waste, material usages, and uptime. Additionally, the Operations Project Leader will prioritize the projects, design, and implement sustainable programs to realize the identified benefits. The ideal candidate will be able to drive a team using tools and concepts of lean manufacturing.. The Operations Project Leader will also be responsible for partnering with the Accounting Department to validate, measure, and track the results of their programs. This position will report directly to the Plant Controller with indirect accountability to the Department Managers. | ||||

| Details: Senior Project Engineer – Chemical Manufacturing  Salary $85,000 – $100,000 + excellent benefits and relocation packages One of the nation’s leading Chemical manufacturers is conducting a search for a Sr. Project Engineer who will develop and coordinate capital projects. Demonstrated experience with total scope of project management including, schedule, cost, cash flow, resources, procurement, and risk; responsibility for complete project execution and development of procedures and documentation; acting as contractor-client liaison; coordinate with discipline leads and cross-functional representatives; submission of any federal, state, or local compliance documents. Must be able to digest and disseminate written information and make numerical calculations sufficiently well to perform assigned general and specific duties and responsibilities. Ability to read interpret drawings; auto cad experience preferred.  This individual will develop process and instrument diagrams for the project scopes and will utilize elements of Project development to determine the impact of the engineering changes and conduct project hazard review. Other responsibilities of this position will be to determine and mange the cost of projects, review vendor proposals & quotations, analyze contractor bids and develop desired solutions. This Engineer will be determining the layout of piping, equipment, and utilities for project to support operations and maintenance.  Developing scopes of work for a project that meets plant goals; process flow diagrams for the project in coordination with production personnel; process and instrument diagrams for project scope and developing schedules with expected resources for execution of projects.
